To understand symmetry is to involve oneself in an emotional complicity with it, to see the pattern and comprehend its bringing together of elements. As here, where the cryptically-crafted songs of the Swedish megastar Bo Sundstr\u00f6m and his band, Bo Kaspers Orkester, are dissolved by the mercury of sympathy and love and reconstituted in a Brazilian milieu: Edu\u2019s lyrics keeping faith with the experience of Bo Sundstr\u00f6m\u2019s lyrics and Toninho\u2019s arrangements giving them a new environment in which to flourish.<\/p>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”small” position=”left”][vc_column_text]Se voc\u00ea n\u00e3o chama<\/em><\/strong> is a song based on Juha Tapaninen’s<\/em><\/strong> Finnish song “Jos et s\u00e4 soita” that was originally made famous by Anna Hanski<\/em><\/strong>. Her version was also used in an advertisement by a Finnish telephone operator.<\/p>\n

When Eduardo and His Brazilian Aeroplane performed Se voc\u00ea n\u00e3o chama<\/strong>\u00a0<\/em>in a festival “Nordischer Klang” at Greifswald, Germany in 2012, the band\u00a0received a standing ovation.<\/p>\n

Telepatia<\/span><\/h3>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”small” position=”left”][vc_column_text]”Eduardo Domingues de Jesus and his Finnish-multinational Brazilian Aeroplane has been delighting Finnish people with their competent Brazilian music for some years. In particular, many remember the great Brazilian arrangements of J. Karjalainen songs conceived by this man and many, surely, have waited for a long time for these songs to appear on an album. It has been worth the wait, because Telepatia is well finished and polished. From a nice idea a fully balanced album of good Brazilian music has developed.<\/p>\n

Telepatia is entirely made up of J. Karjalainen songs that have been translated into Portuguese by Eduardo and rearranged into a genuine Brazilian guise by his musical right hand, Anthony “Toninho” Johnson. Only the last song \u201cOceano finland\u00eas\u201d differs from the formula. This was the Brazilian song \u201cOceano\u201d, originally written by Djavan, and J. Karjalainen, in turn, sings it in Finnish, in his own translation.” \u2014 Mikko Saarela, Rytmi<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n
